The persevering efforts of Wills H. Carrier brought me into this
beautiful planet Earth,
Having made to the top ten innovations of the century, I too have highlighted
made my presence’s worth.
Being born fat & bulky, I was limited to common peoples preaches
& fantasies,
But with my dedicated efforts, I soon transformed into every
household’s topmost necessities.
Once my supreme presence in the neighborhood, imparted me the
status of an eminent race,
But today now I have to jostle hard with my brothers for a
convenient Eave Space.
Once I enjoyed a luxurious life, with quarter-hour breaks in
between each duty cycle width,
But now few minutes of unintentional leisure, invites slaps to my
baby (read remote), with him gasping for breath.
Earlier the ubiquitous green jungles, allowed me intake fresh air
with a soothing sensation,
But now, their man made concrete replacements, helps to choke my
lungs with dirt & pollution.
I have turned more than twice as Energy Efficient than what I was
two decades ago,
But humans still remain callous towards Energy conservation,
turning my efforts as futile in just one go.
My parents brought me up preaching about compensating for their unholy
role in Ozone layer depletion,
Sorry would they now be seeing humans develop new methods in
rocketing towards environment destruction.
I am forced to be present in every possible facet involving human interface,
But I am too small an individual to compensate for the rising
global temperature menace.
I have devotedly contributed my whole life towards the betterment
of the Human civilization,
And now humans need to act swiftly in their duty towards Plant’s
perpetuation.

It’s high time developed as well as developing countries realize
that if the current rate of CO2 emission is continued, then as we had to move from
Conventional/Natural Cooling to HVAC systems as a necessity. Similarly portable
Air Conditioner for every person as a possibility in the future cannot be ruled out.
Along with it , many major
cities of the world face looming threat of getting drowned with the rising water level in the oceans.
